History of Entaco Medical Division
Developments in medicine during the latter part of the 19th Century saw the requirement for surgical needles begin to grow.
It wasn't until the middle of the 20th Century that the company, by then experienced in the manufacture of a vast array of surgical needles as well as ligatures and sutures, began work in the assembly, sterilisation and packing of disposable hypodermic needles.
By the 1980's production had grown and moved to a modern facility where diagnostic sterile products were introduced to the assembly range and produced in purpose built clean environments.
In the 1990's a modern control room was constructed which is environmentally controlled to ISO14644 Class 9. And in 2000, a clean room was built which is currently operating and monitored to ISO14644 Class 7.
Today, Entaco Limited provides medical devices to a global customer base. To find out more about our clean room and control room facilities please contact us.
